I know I have posted this frequently, but I want to share the story of how I met my boyfriend Adam. In 2010, I needed an extra donation to meet fundraising goal for the BBAZ Friendship Walk as I had asked all of my teachers, friends and family to donate. I couldn't think of anyone else to ask. I scanned Facebook and found Adam Pitts. I sent him a private message with my fundraising page and a brief paragraph about what Best Buddies has done in my life. He donated. In 2015, I officially met him in personal at a Chaparral High School alumni event put on by our Life Skills Center Special Ed program. I had no idea he was so sweet until I met him in person.
